Fans maken Iggy Azalea af nadat ze reageert op Eminem-disstrack
De beef tussen Eminem en Machine Gun Kelly is inmiddels al een aantal jaren aan de gang, en steeds meer andere artiesten worden in de ruzie betrokken. In Eminem’s laatte disstrack voor MGK wordt ook Iggy Azalea betrokken. Iggy zelf lijkt echter niet onder de indruk te zijn.
In Eminem’s disstrack voor MGK Killshot, zegt hij:
Got more fans than you in your own city, lil’ kiddy, go play Feel like I’m babysitting Lil Tay
Got the Diddy okay so you spent your whole day
Shootin’ a video just to fuckin’ dig your own grave

Like the last motherfucker sayin’ Hailie in vain
Iggy reageerde op Twitter: “Diss songs shouldn’t be filled with celebrity name drops to pad out lazy bars.”
“And that’s my unbiased opinion from a girl that watched this guys set and sung the words in the crowd. I’d think it regardless. One of the greatest to do it, I’m NOT in dispute about that. But I do think the name dropping thing has become a crotch.” “Also let’s talk about why it’s lazy now; but wasn’t in the earlier work. The earlier stuff was crazy, twisted and creative. This stuff feels more like picking names that fit easily into a rhyme scheme.”
Fans kunnen zich echter helemaal niet vinden in de reactive van Iggy, en maakten haar op Twitter af. Iemand schreef: “I don’t think you can give an unbiased opinion on somebody name dropping you like ten minutes after they name drop you lmao.”
Een ander reageerde: “Imagine calling Eminem’s bars lazy when the lyrics to your latest hit are ‘Ay, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it.get it, get it, get it.” En weer een ander: “ So where was you when MGK dropped his DISS TRACK & drop Em's name & his ex's name & his daughter's name ? I love you Iggy but DON'T come for Eminem. I love X-Tina but she should've kept her mouth shut about his personal life. You should zip it & about worry about your tour.”
