Een aantal dagen verscheen het verbazende nieuws van de pro-gamer Douglas Martin, die zijn vriendin Yanet Garcia had gedumpt om zich op Call of Duty te kunnen focussen. Op zich al bizar genoeg, maar Yanet was ook nog eens supermodel en de ‘mooiste weervrouw ter wereld’.
De realtie van de twee werd op de proef gesteld, toen Yanet van New York terug naar haar geboorteland Mexico verhuisde, toen ze een baan als weervrouw aangeboden kreeg. Martin zei: “I’m playing Call of Duty full-time now and she wanted to take her job opportunity. I didn’t think it was going to be that difficult.”
Nu heeft Yanet in de Mexicaanse TV show ‘Hoy’ gereageerd op zijn excuses en de break-up: ”So, I am relaxed, at peace, I keep what was good about the relationship in my heart.
