Lil Wayne heeft het bedrag bekend gemaakt dat Jay-Z voor hem wou betalen om bij Roc-A-Fella te tekenen in 2005. In die tijd was Lil Wayne een absolute hype en stond op het punt om Tha Carter II te gaan uitbrengen. Wayne vertelt (Video hierboven):
